The Citizen Warrior Defense Intermediate Handgun Course is designed for shooters who have mastered the fundamentals of safe handgun handling and are ready to develop the skills needed for defensive shooting in realistic environments. This course builds on the foundation established in a basic pistol course by introducing more advanced marksmanship, efficient gun handling, movement, and decision-making under pressure.

Students will spend significant time on the range refining their skills through structured live-fire drills that improve speed, accuracy, and confidence. Instruction emphasizes practical defensive handgun techniques that can be applied in everyday concealed carry and personal defense situations.

Prerequisites

Students should have successfully completed a Basic Pistol course or possess equivalent handgun experience. Participants must demonstrate safe firearm handling skills throughout the course.

• Three magazines (or speed loaders for revolvers)
• Magazine carrier
• Sturdy belt
• Eye and ear protection
• Baseball cap recommended
• 200 rounds of factory ammunition
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Closed-toe shoes
